Let's Cruise!

Our first cruise

Ten years ago, my husband and I took our first cruise.  Before we even left the dock I was hooked!  I kept saying "I love cruising!" and my husband kept saying "We haven't even left the pier yet!"  We now take at least two cruises   a year and sometimes three.  We have met some extremely  interesting and wonderful people from all over the world on our trips.  On our first cruise, we met a couple from Denver and the four of us just clicked.  We now meet with them every year for a cruise together and consider them two of our very best friends.  Everything on board is done for you.  You just have to unpack, relax and enjoy yourself!

New ship in Jacksonville, Florida

A mega cruise ship just came to Jacksonville, Florida.  The Carnival Fascination ship arrived in port the middle of September 2008.  This is the largest ship to ever permanently base in Jacksonville and carries 2,052 passengers.  Carnival hopes to attract many new cruisers in the southeastern states.  They are offering four and five day cruises to the Bahama's and Key West.

When I first decided to write a blog, some experts told me to pick a subject that I was truly passionate about.  Other's said "you must have extensive knowledge and a true love of what you are writing about."  Well, it didn't take me long to come to the conclusion that I would write about cruising!  I probably hold the world record for packing the fastest to go on a cruise!  I can pack and be out the door before you can say "She sells seashells down by the seashore" five times.  Well, that might be a little exaggerated but, you get the point.  My goal here is to present an entertaining cruise website, filled with helpful information, news in the cruise industry and cruise reviews.  I would love to hear from some of you and tell me about your favorite cruise or cruise ship.   So, welcome to my website and I hope you will enjoy it and find something here that is of some interest to you.
